Land Invasion on Cattle Farm
Problem: The heirs of a 4,000 acre cattle ranch didin’t know the exact condition of their land nor its boundaries. When they visited the ranch they realized that the boundary markers didn’t match what they had in outdated topographic plans. They had no way of telling where their land began, nor ended.
Solution: By mapping his terrain using photgrammetry from a UAV, Fly North was able to superpose the old plans onto the new highly accurate orthophoto, immediately it was evident which areas didn’t match and had been invaded by the neighbors through the years.
Results: With this irrefutable evidence the heirs were able to recover 300 acres of their land. Also we helped them desing a new layout of the land, optimizing resources and making the farm a lot more profitable.
